This image was captured from the shore of Sango Bay in Durness, Scotland.

After taking several shots of the scattered sea stacks along the pristine beach, I decided to try a long exposure as the light turned glorious and the clouds began to thicken. I focused on a striking, pyramidal sea stack and exposed the scene for 63 seconds. The result is this surreal, minimalist black-and-white seascape.
